Update "1.0"

After roughly a month of working on this, I've finally finished rewriting the entire game in a new engine. I'm calling it quits here, as I've been working on this practically all summer break. I may do updates in the future that improves things like animations and whatnot, but adding new content is virtually impossible at this point. Here's everything I can think of that changed:

• Rewrote the entire game in a brand new game engine
• Fixed a bug that allowed you to phase through walls
• Added screen transitions
• Added screen shake when you die, and when big movement occurs
• Fixed a bug that caused wall jumping to sometimes send you flying downwards
• Removed the pause screen animation
• Removed the 360 flip animation when you wall jump
• Added a SFX setting
• Made progress restore by default, and replaced "restore checkpoint" with "reset progress"
• Made the pause menu navigable via keyboard
• Added time and death display to the pause menu
• Redid the entire ending cutscene like anyone saw the first one
• Changed the you win screen to display better
• Added discord and YouTube links to the pause menu
• Made small adjustments to physics
• Changed the game to run in 60fps
• Performance optimizations
• Changed level geometry a bit
• Replaced all the ice levels with newer better ones
• Ice no longer disables wall jumping, and you can now slide up ice
• Added particles for when you die, respawn, and hit a checkpoint
• Added 5 hidden areas with optional collectables and an extra challenge
• Made the square stretch slightly more during movement
• Added a few frames of coyote time
• You can now slide down walls underwater
• Replaced the dialogue system with a new fullscreen variant
• Removed the fading transition of songs between rooms

There are probably more little changes that I forgot, but I'm going to leave it at that for now. I hope to never work on this game again, I've gotten quite tired of it and want to try new things now, so expect lots of new things over the next couple years!
